Astute leverages RackWare's DR technology so clients can set flexible and highly automated DR policies. Clients can choose their desired recovery point objective (RPO) is and the recovery time objective (RTO) desired.
Once all the policies have been defined, the sync will run in an entirely automated fashion. Clients will receive alerts, notifications, and reports so they will only have to monitor it and all the syncs are running properly.
If the client has an extended outage in the origin environment, the client can simply execute the failover via push button with minimal manual intervention because the software's automation will provision servers, execute any glue logic to hold together the infrastructure, and the client is back up and running in the target environment.
