RackWare Product Name Changes

Effective date: August 1, 2025

​The RackWare products formerly named RackWare  CloudAssess, CloudMotion, CloudProtect, and RackWare Universe have all been consolidated under the new product name "RackWare Multi-Cloud Mobility and Resilience Platform."

 

The name change was simply a marketing exercise. There was no corresponding change to any code, and The Multi-Cloud Mobility and Resilience Platform includes the full functionality of each of those products, as follows:

  • CloudAssess was the name for the assessment and monitoring functionality

  • CloudMotion was the name for migration functionality

  • CloudProtect was the name for disaster recovery and backup functionality

  • RackWare Universe was a consolidated license incorporating all of the above
