Introduction
SAP, including ECC with its multitude of databases, has a reputation for being challenging to migrate and configure for Disaster Recovery. SAP HANA, in particular, is problematic due to its in-memory architecture. Typically, this results in lengthy and difficult migration and DR configuration times with special intervention required for a workable solution.
Solution Overview
RackWare MultiCloud Platform provides a true any-to-any replication and sync capability which means that it can seamlessly move workloads (servers or containers) from any source environment to any target environment. The solution is hypervisor agnostic and includes full seamless support for physical servers to virtual machines to Cloud. The solution automatically provisions the new servers and containers into your Google Cloud Project.

Operational Benefits
RackWare’s unique architecture supports SAP HANA and ECC (including all supported database types) with its standard replication mechanism, with no special intervention to handle in-memory applications or any database type. RackWare connects to servers at the Operating System level and uses a sophisticated Filesystem approach to replicate servers. The non-disruptive workflow is highly automated and easy to use with the Target sever operating at full function immediately after a replication. The efficient delta sync function enables converged Backup & Disaster Recovery as well as minimal downtime during migration cutovers.
